4th edition of Decarbonizing Architecture

On October 22nd, Optinoos, along with Irene Subils Sanchez, from the Directorate of Building and General Services, Area of Social Rights, Health, Cooperation and Community, Barcelona City Council, led one of the guided tours organized by the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC) for the 4th edition of Decarbonizing Architecture. ✨
The tour focused on the CIUTAT VELLA APROP project, an innovative temporary housing model that reuses industrialized housing modules from shipping containers. This system, promoted by Barcelona City Council, offers an agile, efficient, and sustainable solution to meet the city’s housing needs. 📢
These visits were an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge, inspire other professionals, and reaffirm our commitment to the circular economy and decarbonization in the built environment. ♻️
Thanks to the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC) for promoting this space for learning and collaboration. 👏
Together, we are moving toward architecture that combats the climate crisis and improves people’s quality of life. 🌍
